Welcome to Homeriah. Please read these terms before using the service. By creating an account or using Homeriah, you agree to them.
The service
Homeriah is a private archive product for individuals and families to record and keep photos and stories, along with a family tree, a private journal, and AI-assisted descriptions/biographies -- some features are available to paid subscribers only.
Your account
Please provide a valid email and keep your password safe. You're responsible for activity under your account. The service is intended for adults and for minor family members participating with a guardian's help -- it isn't intended for children to register their own account independently.
Your content
You own the photos, text, and family relationships you upload. To provide the service -- displaying, storing, backing up, and processing content you actively request AI assistance on -- you grant us a limited license needed to do that. You're responsible for having the right to upload this content, including content involving other family members.
Public pages and view rewards
You may choose to make a page public. View counts on public pages are tracked, and crossing certain thresholds can earn a membership reward (see the pricing page for details); reward rules may change at any time. We reserve the right to revoke a reward if we find evidence of artificially inflated views or other abuse.
Subscriptions and payment
Plus / VIP memberships are purchased via Stripe (card) or WeChat Pay, billed monthly. You can cancel anytime before renewal, and it won't auto-renew after that. Amounts already paid for the current period are generally non-refundable, except in cases like a duplicate charge -- contact us if that happens.
Prohibited conduct
Please don't upload unlawful content, impersonate someone else, harass others, or publish someone else's private information without permission. We reserve the right to remove content or suspend an account that violates this.
About the AI features
AI-generated photo descriptions and biography drafts are a starting point and may not be fully accurate -- please review them before publishing. The AI won't invent names, relationships, or events you never wrote, but human review is still recommended.
Termination
You can delete your account at any time (see the Privacy Policy). We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these terms.
Disclaimer
The service is provided “as is.” We aim to keep it reliable, but we aren't liable for losses caused by events outside our control, such as force majeure or a third-party service outage.
