About Homeriah
Homeriah started from a simple observation: a family's stories slip away quietly, day by day -- a photo taken in passing, a memory nobody wrote down in time, a thought only one person ever knew. We wanted to build a place where those things could actually be kept, instead of realizing one day they're gone for good. It isn't only "a place to remember someone after they're gone" -- it's meant for every ordinary day while they're still here, first as somewhere family can record and get to know each other, and naturally becoming a place to return to later.
What we offer
- Stories and photos, kept togetherCreate a page for a family member or for yourself, and add photos and stories any time. Private by default -- only the people you invite can see it.
- Family relationships and a family treeLink family members together and see who's who, and how everyone relates, in a visual family tree.
- A private journal for the futureWrite things down that are just for you -- keep them always private, or choose to let family read them after you're gone. That choice is entirely yours, with a safety buffer against mistakes.
- AI-assisted biographyDraft a biography from published stories (and any journal entries you've chosen to allow) with AI assistance, then edit it by hand.
- Never miss what mattersBirthdays, anniversaries, the new year, and pages that have gone quiet for a while -- we'll nudge you and your family at the right moment.
- Public figure memorial pagesDeceased cultural and historical figures can also have a public memorial page here, for anyone to learn about and remember.
Privacy is the default, not an extra setting
Every page starts private -- only the people you invite can see it. Whether and how much to make public is always your own decision.
